Amber is a mental health therapist and has her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in social work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor as well as Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She is trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT for Psychosis, Trauma Focused CBT, Nurturing Parenting, and Mindfulness. She specializes in working with adults and adolescents who have issues with anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, trauma, PTSD, behavioral issues, ADHD, guilt and shame issues, anger issues and substance abuse issues. She has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field including mentoring adolescents with severe emotional disturbances and behavioral issues and as a counselor at an adult residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment facility.
